Once an honor student decides to join NSCS, one of the first items they receive is their diploma. This is more than just a fancy piece of paper: it symbolizes many hard hours of dedication and commitment to academic excellence.
Up until 2005, the Society had been using a simple certificate folder to mail the diploma, and along with it was a welcome letter.
But NSCS was missing a huge opportunity—a first impression that was a lasting one. Not only is this diploma meant as a token of merit, it symbolizes the beginning of a relationship. Membership in the Society is so much more than a diploma, and there is no better time than a welcome to make known what is available.
With that in mind, we set out to develop them a new package. They wanted something that was elegant yet interesting, durable yet uncomplicated. What came about was a lasting first impression in the form of a personalized Welcome to NSCS folder, its seven inserts and the corner-tucked diploma.
